Abstract

There have been a number of new engineering designs developed specifically to meet human needs as
a result of recent developments in wireless communication technology. We came up with the concept
of creating a more straightforward, versatile, and budget-friendly design to turn on and off street lights
using short message service (SMS) due to the growing interest in wireless and GSM-based projects.
The user's mobile device sends data as commands to the street light for the night lighting applications
system using SMS (Short Service Messages), giving the user dependable, cost-effective, and farreaching access. The base station controller receives the coded SMS over the light relay system,
decodes them, and then starts the necessary automation activities. After the processes are started
successfully, the controller replies to the user
