Abstract

This project presents the design and implementation of a cloud-connected home
automation system using the NodeMCU (ESP8266) microcontroller. The proposed
system provides an intelligent, internet-enabled solution for remotely monitoring and
controlling household electrical appliances through a Wi-Fi-based embedded
platform. The NodeMCU, which integrates a 32-bit processor with built-in Wi-Fi
capability, serves as the core controller enabling seamless communication between
physical devices and cloud services.
